The report of the International Symposium on the Conservation of the Coastal Area of the Bay of Bengal
The International Symposium on the Conservation of the Coastal Area of the Bay of Bengal was successfully held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 7 March 2019, which was attended by 50 participants from 8 countries (Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Korea and Japan). This was the first international forum on conservation and sustainable management of wetlands in the Bay of Bengal region, where 20 presenters representing various disciplines, countries and regions were able to articulate their thought and ideas, followed by a short live floor interaction.
