| An environmental education event for children was held at the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Sanctuary, in conjunction with the Asian Wetlands Week 2004, under the catchword "Wetlands Love Children". 113 children from the local kindergarten and their parents have enjoyed bird watching and mangrove forest field trip. Children were given plenty of exposures throughout the event, as they met many wetland creatures such as crabs, mudskippers, birds, and so on. |
